Carrie fans, rejoiceGoing through SATC withdrawals since SJP’s hit HBO show hung up their Manolo Blahniks and went on syndication status? Fret no more. The CW is resurrecting Carrie Bradshaw in a prequel to Sex and the City. The Carrie Diaries will star AnnaSophia Robb, the actress who is most known for her recent role in Soul Surfer. The doe-eyed actress will portray Carrie as a teen in high school, before she became a sex columnist, fell in an “it’s complicated” love affair with Mr. Big, and found soulmates in her three best girlfriends. And be prepared to find out all sorts of facts you SATC trivia buffs might not know. Like, did you know Carrie has a sister? How about that she isn’t a New York native, and was instead born and raised by her dad in Connecticut? Whatever the case, the new Carrie (who has receive a blessing from Sarah Jessica Parker herself) couldn’t be a more perfect fit.

Baby for ReeseLooks like Reese and her new husband have a little bun in the oven. The past several weeks she’s been spotted concealing her baby bump by strategically placed bags or sweatshirts tied around the waist. But a source close to her divulged that while she wasn’t going to make any public announcement, she is in fact 12 weeks along.

Hungry talentWith today being the official premiere of the Hunger Games, actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are about to lose all sense of privacy and become the most known faces of the year. But they weren’t always in the spotlight. Lawrence was discovered while on vacation in New York City when the assistant of an agent discovered her and took her picture. At 16, she graduated early and embarked on her career as an actress. Hutcherson took matters in his own hands, however. So bent on becoming an actor, he began coldcalling agents at age 8. His hard work paid off, given a few decent roles before landing the part of Peeta in THG.

Sober Jersey Shore?Nothing rivals the classiness of Jersey Shore, or the fact that drama exists in the house even when the cameras aren’t on. News was abuzz when Snooki admitted she had a little sausage in the oven. And then the Situation admitted after some speculation that he voluntarily entered himself into rehab to kick a prescription drug and alcohol addiction. Is JS losing two of their most drama-filled cast members? Not a chance. The show will go on with a struggling to stay sober Sitch and a hopefully alcohol-free Snooki. Of course, how easy will that be when each episode is reeking of the sauce? Guess we’ll find out when they start filming Season 6 during the summer.

Flying? Or Falling?A French photographer teamed up with a Parisian dance team to create stellar moments in time while they seemingly floated in the middle of a supermarket. Why? To depict a stillshot caught between having a being, freezing that moment between flying and falling, all to portray the freedom the escape from materialism can bring. Check out more of his photos and an interview he had with themorningnews.org.
