In a benefit for Jack London State Park on Monday, February 18, the San Francisco folk-drunk band, Vagabondage, will be performing songs with whiskey soaked lyrics about wandering vagrants, zombie holidays, and a good old-fashioned anthem to the heavy metal throwing of the goat.

And it’s all done to the tune of the squeeze box, bass violin, and an occasional mandolin in classic bar room fashion.

In other words, it’s a concert Jack London would have attended, himself.

This concert is only the first in what’s to be an expected series of music and performance events at Jack London State Park. This summer, the park will also welcome another season of Broadway Under the Stars, ongoing piano concerts and lectures, and more musical ventures such as this one.

Vagabondage takes the stage from 6-8 p.m. The concert is two sets, and beer and other refreshments will be served at intermission. Tickets are $20 and include parking.

Located at Jack London State Park, House of Happy Walls Museum, 2400 London Ranch Rd., Glen Ellen.
