For weeks, there’s been a steady buzz about what bands would sign on for the inaugural BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival, with names like Primus, The Black Keys and Bad Religion, Cake and Charlie Musselwhite bandied about.

Today, organizers are confirming the full lineup of the musical acts that make up part of the anticipated 50+ performers on the roster. With genres ranging from rock and soul to funk and hip-hop, it’s a wildly eclectic mix in the spirit of festivals like Coachella, Bumbershoot and Outside Lands.

Here’s who’s signed to the four-day event May 9-12…

Thursday, May 9th, the festival kicks off with performances by Further (featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir), The Black Crowes, and Primus.

Friday, May 10th is filled with Grammy winners and nominees, including The Black Keys, The Shins, and Alabama Shakes.

Saturday, May 11th brings Kings of Leon, Bad Religion, Ben Harper, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, among others.

Sunday, May 12th finishes the concert festival with Zac Brown Band, Cake, and Rodrigo y Gabriela.

Also slated to perform over the weekend: Jane’s AddictionFlaming Lips, Mavis Staples, The Wallflowers, ALO, Donavon Frankenreiter, Charlie Musselwhite, Tristan Prettyman, Allen Stone, Blues Traveler, Brandi Carlile and Cafe Tacuba.

And before the festival is underway, a pre-event performance on Wednesday, May 8th will feature up and coming artists Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the band who’s brought thrifting into the spotlight with their maga hit “Thrift Shop” that’s been burning up the radio and topping the charts.  The hip hop show is available to all 3 and 4 day festival pass holders, or for $29 for just this performance date

The list will be updated as additional acts are added. The comedy lineup will be finalized and added mid-February, along with details on the 60 wineries, restaurants and craft brewers expected to participate.

“The Napa Valley has set such a high standard for wine, food and hospitality that we feel that the time is right to add an amazing music festival to the mix. It will be great to see foodies, wine lovers and BottleRockers exploring the Valley by day and then coming together in downtown Napa for an evening of after parties,” said BottleRock Co-Founder Gabriel Meyers. “BRNV will be a different kind of music festival by virtue of its location in the Valley and Downtown Napa. Where else will you see winemakers, chefs, and artists mingling with patrons before, during and after the music?”

The concert will be central to the entire 26 acres of the Napa Valley Expo, with acts performing on stages at the carnival, the Plaza Stage, and in the Silverado parking lot areas. The festival doors open at noon daily, with performances beginning at 12:30 p.m. VIP ticket holders will have access to more than 30 after parties that will take place nightly throughout the city of Napa following the final encore. After party venues include the Uptown Theatre, restaurants, art galleries, and more all within walking distance of the Napa Valley Expo.

Limited pre-sale tickets go on sale Sunday, February 3-9 (while tickets last) for Napa Valley locals, artist fan club members, community partners, and “Friends of the 49ers”, and will require a promo code to be eligible.

General 3 & 4 day passes go on sale February 10th.
