On Saturday, Jan 5, Friedman’s Home Improvement is inviting kids ages 3 and up to come to their Santa Rosa store for their monthly KidsWorx Creative Workshop. From 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the local construction store will assist young kids in making their very own musical instruments and exploring hands-on science. Best of all? The workshop is free!

KidsWorx Workshops are put on by Friedman’s in partnership with the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County. They are held the first Saturday of every month, focusing on a new theme for each workshop. The purpose is to not only give kids something really fun to be a part of, but to teach basic mechanics while promoting the use of their imaginations and creativity. And while there, kids will be able to peruse the interactive displays of the Museum-on-the-Go.
