Body by Burlesque

You’ve likely noticed that there’s been an influx of burlesque events happening all over the Sonoma County nightclubs as of late. And more than noticing, I am willing to bet you’ve been intrigued by the beauties that flash a little leg and shimmy their way across the stage.

An enticing class at Yoga One in Petaluma is offering Body by Burlesque – toning your muscles through sexy fun fitness. The 5-class series starts this Saturday, January 5th from 7:30-9:30 p.m., and is every Saturday until February 2nd. You’ll be taught by Kenyetta Todd, one of the Bay Area’s best burlesque performers, learning an energizing routine meant to both shape you and bring something home for that special someone.  You’ll not only learn techniques for shimmies, twirls, and some of the more suggestive maneuvers, you’ll also receive tips on costuming, hair, and makeup.
