So, you remember that one guy on American Idol who (imo) should have won the whole thing? The one with the deep growl and the big bushy beard, and who actually brought a melodica to his American Idol audition where he scatted away to “I don’t need no doctor”? The one who actually got to kiss Jennifer Lopez.
Let me give you a clue:
Excuse me while I get a little starstruck, but CASEY ABRAMS is coming to the Wells Fargo Center this Thursday, Dec. 6th for KMHX’s 7th annual Chris-Mix party, starting at 8 p.m. Also joining Casey Abrams will be Ryan Star and our local boys Pat Jordan Band.
The party serves as a benefit for The Children’s Village of Sonoma County, a group that works to provide stable and nurturing homes for kids in foster care. Tickets are only $12 for a night of acoustic music. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit wellsfargocenterarts.org or mix1049fm.com/ChrisMix2012.aspx.
But for now, let me leave you with a little more Casey.
CASEY ABRAMS, you are very good. I want to see your show. Thank You.
I welcome your sound and spirit.
It’s great jive, “Keep-On-Truckin’”…..

I have to say I’m super dissapointed by American Idol this year. I watched last year, and I was super upset when Colton Dixon was voted off. I almost stopped watching. I have to say though, Angie Miller’s elimination really topped it off for me. Now that Angie’s gone, I’m really going to stop watching. People don’t usually vote for the people who are the best because they figure they’re safe anyway. Angie was going to win, and she didn’t deserve to go home and should have won because she was the best one. I personally feel that watching a show that people don’t vote for the person in the competition they truly want to win isn’t really worth watching. America as voters often get it totally wrong, and that definetally happened this season. ^..’”
