Kicking off the season with a spirit of flair, SOFA (South of A) Arts District is hosting their annual Winterblast celebration on Saturday, November 17 from 5-8 p.m.
As in the past, this year’s popular event includes the ever lively SOFA Parade, featuring a barrage of sofas, street performers, and even visitors to the event who come in costume.
Along with the parade, the evening is a festive affair with music to dance to, open art galleries and studios, local food vendors, a Kids Zone, and more. The festival is open to those of all ages, and is free to attend.
The SOFA Arts District is located near Julliard Park at the intersection of South A Street and Sebastopol Ave in downtown Santa Rosa. For more information, visit sofasantarosa.com.
Don’t park at the mall this year, support the elementary school in the SOFA district: Luther Burbank Elementary! There will be parking on the blacktop at the school for the event for $5. The staff parking lot along A Street will be reserved for handicapped spaces too.
