Rob Schneider is celebrating his birthday in Santa Rosa, and is inviting you to join him.

Huge news just hit the 707, and we couldn’t wait to share it with you!  We just got the exclusive scoop that Rob Schneider, who’s starred in the “Deuce Bigalow” films, “The Animal”, “50 First Dates”, “The Hot Chick”, and countless more hilarious films and shows, will be partying it up for his 49th birthday with his old friend Franco Fabiani at Fabiani’s Ristorante (505 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa) this Sunday, September 30th, at 7 p.m.

And YOU are invited to the party.

Fabiani, known as somewhat of a magnet to befriending celebrities before they become big, has been friends with Schneider for more than 30 years when they met in San Francisco.  An acquaintance of big name stars like Joe Montana, Carlos Santana, and Bonnie Raitt, it’s not unlikely for a celebrity to drop in on Fabiani at his restaurant.  This isn’t even Schneider’s first guest appearance, as he showed up last summer to help raise funds for a WTC memorial here in Santa Rosa.  This time he will be bringing his wife, television producer Patricia Azarcoya Arce, who is expecting their child sometime next month.

While Schneider is the guest of honor at this birthday shindig, the food for the evening demands its own spotlight.  Act I is a proscuitto melon.  Act II is a trio of pastas – gnocchi, ravioli, and tortellini.  Act III is a caesar or beet salad.  Act IV is a choice between the salmon piccata, chicken involtino, or the lamb shank.  And the Grand Finale is a dessert choice of tiramisu or pannacotta served with coffee.  Paired with the meal is Fabiani’s private-label red and white wines.

Because Schneider’s such a great guy, he is celebrating the last year of his 40s by using his party as a way to raise money for the YWCA Women’s Shelter.  General seating for the event is $75.  To be served at the chef’s table is $100.  And to get an exclusive seat at Schneider’s table is a mere $150.  To purchase tickets, call (707) 523-4800 or email francofabiani505@gmail.com.  Be warned, however, that if you wait on this you will miss your chance to dine with Rob Schneider, as only 75 tickets will be made available.
