Petaluma gets tastier

Taste of Petaluma: This Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the 7th Annual Taste of Petaluma takes place throughout downtown, with more than 60 chefs, food purveyors, wineries and breweries offering yummy things to eat and drink, all in support of Cinnabar Theater, one of Sonoma County’s performing arts treasures.

Here’s how it works. You buy a package of 10 tasting tickets, which you can use at any of the participating venues. Additional tickets, $4 each, will be available to participants throughout the day.

You have until 3 p.m. Friday to purchase a ticket package for $35. They are available online at tasteofpetaluma.organd at several locations in Petaluma, including Cinnabar Theater. You’ll pick up your advance tickets at Helen Putnam Plaza (139 Petaluma Blvd. North, Petaluma) after 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

After 3 p.m., the price goes up to $40. These tickets also will be available at Helen Putnam Plaza beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

There will also be entertainment at several locations. The Keepers, Raks Rosa Dance Company, Nate Lopez and others perform in Theater Square. I Leoni, Wild Goat Bistro, Elvis and the Flashbacks and others perform in Putnam Plaza and Safe Under the Tree are among the entertainers features at the Golden Eagle Center.
