On Tuesday, July 24th at 7pm, Chris Colfer is coming to the Petaluma Copperfields.

Chris Colfer is known GLEEfully as the fashionable and drastically high-ranged singer Kurt Hummel on the hit show Glee, a high school musical dramedy that challenges real life issues. Colfer’s forward-thinking role as a gay student has led to his inclusion as one of 100 most influential people in the world in Time Magazine’s annual list, as well as earning him a Golden Globe, two Emmy nominations, and a SAG nomination.

And now we can add AUTHOR to the 22-year old’s list of impressive accomplishments.

Colfer’s children’s novel The Land of Stories is set to be released in July. The story centers on Alex and Conner Bailey, a set of twins who have just been given a treasured fairytale book by their grandmother. Little do they know, however, that the stories they’re about to read will enter them into a world where fairytales are real – Goldilocks is a wanted fugitive, Red Riding Hood has a kingdom of her own, and Queen Cinderella is about to have a child. However, the adventure is only the beginning as the twins try to find their way home – all while the legendary Evil Queen is hot on their trail.

Signing passes are required to attend this event, which are available with IN-STORE purchases of Colfer’s book The Land of Stories. You can also phone your order in at 762-0563. Do not purchase your book online if you want to attend this event.
