One of my personal favorite trends for weddings this year is the beautiful rustic fashions and ideas of the vintage bride. That’s why I’m so excited about the upcoming Bridal Legacies faire coming up on March 24 from 10am-5pm, showcasing relic wedding wear, curios, and gifts, as well as original vintage style fashions, accessories, and home decor.
The sister show of the Reclaimed Legacies show (which has been held for the past several Novembers) and partnered with the rustic antique store Summer Cottage, this bridal show has the same unique feel to it. It’s only enhanced by the local Bay Area artisans offering their talents and wares to make your special day lovely and unique. From elegant victorian, shabby chic, recycled, handcrafted, and even stylishly dapper steampunk, the Bridal Legacies show will have everything for any kind of bride. A fashion show at 2pm will help you decide just what kind of look you’re going for if you are still musing about style. And specific vendors (think vintage-inspired photographers and floral designers, as well as indie designers) will be on hand to help you check one more thing off your list.
And because the show is featuring things beyond wedding to help you decorate your home, even non-brides will come away with inspiration and some charming additions for their abode.
The vintage Bridal Legacies faire will be held at the Petaluma Women’s Club Building at 518 B St in Petaluma. Admission is $5 adult, $2 senior, and 18 & under are free.
