Chowda heads, unite! The 9th annual Bodega Bay Chowder Day is this Saturday, February 11th from 11am-3pm. This annual competition will take you on a tour of chowder decadence, leading you to some of the best soups and stews all over Bodega Bay. Participating restaurants will serve tastes of all types of chowder, and voters will rate each one on a 5-star scale. The chowder with the most stars at the end of the day wins!

The Casino Bar and Grill (17000 Bodega Highway, Bodega)
The Duck Club (103 S Hwy 1, Bodega Bay)
Island Style Deli (599 Highway 1, Bodega Bay)
Pelican Plaza Grocery and Deli (1400 N Highway 1, Bodega Bay)
Rocker Oysterfeller’s (14415 Highway One, Valley Ford)
The Sandpiper (1400 N Highway 1, Bodega Bay)
Spud Point Crab Company (1860 Westshore Rd, Bodega Bay)
The Tides Wharf (835 California 1, Bodega Bay)
Alexander’s at Timbercove Inn (21780 N Coast Highway 1, Timber Cove)
The Union Hotel (3731 Main Street, Occidental)

Tickets are only $5, and will be available starting at 10:45am at the Sonoma Coast Visitors Center located at 850 Highway 1, Bodega Bay. Only 900 tickets will be available this year, and sold on a first come, first serve basis. Proceeds from the ticket benefits the Bodega Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and their annual “Fireworks Over Bodega Bay” celebration during the Bodega Bay Block Party.
