When the Giants face the Patriots in Indianapolis in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb 5, sports bars across the county will be ready to party.  Here are some of the places around town where you can catch the big game, just watch the commercials, keep watch for halftime Madonna shenanigans….or go to drown your Niner sorrows in a pint.

Hooters Rohnert Park: They are boasting 32 beers on tap, a full liquor bar, and 23 50″ TVs. But of course, you’re just going for the wings, right? With the grand opening celebrated this week, this is our hot pick of the week for game watching with a view.   6099 Redwood Dr, Rohnert Park 585-9464

Ausiello’s 5th Street Grill: Free snacks and giveaways of sports memorabilia.  And some of the hugest, most delicious (and messy) burgers to be dressed up at the toppings bar and devoured while lamenting the absence of the Niners.  609 5th St, Santa Rosa. 579-9408

Ticket Sports Bar & Grill: The barbecue will be smoking, drink specials will be going on all day, and the bar will give away prizes to lucky patrons.  Big screen TVs everywhere you turn, and a full liquor bar to wet your whistle. 3381 Cleveland Avenue Santa Rosa. 528-7944

Quincy’s Pub & Cafe: Free BBQ tri-tip starting at 1pm, Bud & Bud Lite Platinum at $2.50 a bottle, and two dozen TVs to catch the big game. 6590 Commerce Blvd # D Rohnert Park. 585-1079

West Side Grill: Giving away free Super Bowl t-shirts. And even though they’re lamenting the loss of the niners, they’ll still have a full menu of awesome food and ice cold beers to wash it down.  3082 Marlow Road Santa Rosa. 573-9453

Patterson’s Pub: Come before the game for their Sunday brunch, then stay for the chef created, button popping Super Bowl spread after kickoff. 9057 Windsor Road, on the Windsor Town Green. 838-PUB1 (7821)

Beyond the Glory: More than two dozen TVs in this family friendly sports bar, and a menu full of tasty choices for food and brews. 1371 N McDowell Boulevard, Suite 130, Petaluma, 866.377.7389

McNear’s Mystic Theater: Drink and food specials, brunch till 12:30, 17 flat screen TVs, surround sound, and a full bar upstairs. The party’s on.  23 Petaluma Blvd N, Petaluma 765-2121

Hopmonk Tavern Sonoma: Hi-def big screen and Hoppy Hour drink and food specials, as well as specials during the big game.  691 Broadway, Sonoma. 935-9100

Hopmonk Tavern Sebastopol:  The game will be blaring from the large Abbey screen in HD on the big dig sound system so you can hear the helmets crack.  230 Petaluma Ave, Sebastopol. 829-7300

And for a promising pre-party….

Kodiak Jack’s: 18+ Pre-Superbowl Tailgate party.  Show up in your favorite team’s jersey – even if they didn’t make it into the Super Bowl – and get $3 off cover charge.  Games, contests, drink specials, and food specials.  Face it, what’s a tailgate without nachos and apps? 256 Petaluma Boulevard North Petaluma.  765-5760

Where will you be watching?
