Cabaret de Caliente
kicked off their new revue with burlesque, pole dancing, and other strip tease, Jan., 19, 2012 at Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol. Over two hours, things got hot, hot, hot. The highlight: Eva D’Luscious starting out in granny’s housecoat, stripping down to a teddy made of men’s neckties (so Etsy!) and ending up in pasties, fishnets and a whole lot of nothin’ else!

Pole dancer Candi Delight, teaches at iCandy Pole Dance Studio in Rohnert Park. No surprise she can slide and squirm up and down the pole in just about every orientation imaginable — and some that are definitely impossible. First-timer Kitty Charisma danced off her silky blue dress then gyrated, shaking her finger in disapproval while spinning her tassels in opposite directions. Wow.

Is it possible that pole and burlesque dancers aren’t following the same laws of gravity and physics as the rest of us? This question needs further investigation at the show next month, February 16th.

PS:  if you’ve got talent, Cabaret de Caliente welcomes new performers, including circus arts, burlesque, side show, magicians, belly dance, musicians, and other strange and interesting acts.
