Addictive melodies: Clean sounds are emitted from the microphones of the Coast Pilots. You can actually hear the haunting lyrics while grooving to the sweet bass, crooning guitar, and heady beat. Ranked at the top of the charts for Santa Rosa on ReverbNation, as well as having around 30,000 fans on the site, this rock band is clearly a hit in Sonoma County. And it’s no wonder – their rock influences hint of Matchbox 20 with the heart, soul, and deep emotions just dripping from their music.

And besides their worthy talent, the band is all about giving back to the community. Their preferred charity is towards the Rincon Valley Education Foundation Music Fundraising program, for which they released a benefit album.

“We recorded all the school bands in the Rincon Valley School District and released a benefit album. 100% of the proceeds go back into the district music program and 20% of online sales benefit VH1 save the music foundation. It’s a great way to keep music alive in our schools” says band member Erik Erickson.
